For our location in Pessin, Germany, we are looking for a highly motivated Quality Control Assistant to join us for a full-time position.
Tasks
- Conduct and report quality control laboratory tests as per SOPs
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of test results
- Ensure that all Quality Management System documentation is completed and accurately filed
- Perform maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of lab equipment
- Participate in Quality Assurance programs (e.g. method evaluation and validation, Sample management, SWOT and FMEA analysis, Continuous Improvement plans)
- Maintain cleanliness of laboratory environment
- Ensure that samples are tested economically, accurately and timely
- Calculating cost analysis on a per test basis for existing and new testing procedures
- Full Adherence to all regulatory guidelines
About You
- Completed studies in molecular biology or a related subject (e.g. microbiology, biotechnology; B. Sc. degree is desirable)
- +Two years work experience in Molecular Biology/Cytogenetics laboratory environment
- Previous hands on experience working with any, or preferably all, of the following: mammalian Cytogenetics and Cell culture, ELISA, qPCR, Biochemical analysis
- Good computer skills including MS Office and the ability to learn new software, systems and equipment
- Good numerical and mathematical skills with an understanding of statistics
- Experience and knowledge about Quality Assurance of pharmaceuticals including ISO Quality Management and GMP
- Very good knowledge of English and German
- Any candidate must have a valid EU work permit.
